  • Latest Update Dropped Features

I’ve been using Snapseed for 12+ years and find it generally intuitive and functional. However, I’m disappointed the white balance eyedropper tool has been eliminated. That was incredibly useful in its simplicity. Having to mask or use the brush tool is time consuming and results are annoyingly muddy.

The new UI stinks! I really like the old one.

i'm not a fan of the new UI, ngl. the background isn't as dark anymore, making it hard to differentiate between shadows and highlights accurately. it's not as well refined, and looks quite juvenile compared to the more sleek UI from before. please bring it back.
  • Snapseed was awesome until …

Longtime user I absolutely loved using Snapseed until this recent update/improvement. The app went from a professional vibe to a child’s app. The big googling eyes popping up are irritating beyond belief. All of the cartoonish ‘helpful’ prompts are irritating as well. Whomever came up with this should be fired! If they don’t fix this soon I will end up tossing Snapseed and using my adobe app.
  • Latest Design Not The Move

Latest design update is awful. Much less intuitive, looks childish, and much slower. Have loved this app over the years but this last change is not the right move.

So far 5 stars. I’ll be back to re-review if it drops any lower. It’s still new to me :)
  • So much better!

This latest update is so much better than the previous one. For a free editor, Snapseed is amazing. I have Photoshop and Lightroom, and in many cases (not all), I prefer Snapseed. It works beautifully on my iPad Pro. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to edit their photos a little or a lot. It handles everything smoothly and quickly.

The portrait filter no longer works.
  • App update ruined it

App update made the app significantly slower. Added googly eyes when loading which makes it super cheesy. Backtracked a bunch with this update. Been using for 5-6 years now and thinking of switching now
