    I paid for the weekly $29.99 and for some reason got charged $50.98. Don’t know if it was a glitch or a messed up on y’all’s part but I didn’t even get more credits for it so will be canceling my subscription and contacting my bank.

    They don’t even give enough credits to make one video! I just wanted to try the app and see if it would be what I was needing. I paid for the weekly subscription to try and make ONE video. They didn’t even give enough credit to make ONE video for $10!!! Absolutely not. Huge waste of $10!

    I’ve made nine videos with Sondo, and every single one of them has had the same problem: it can’t keep my identity consistent. I upload a picture of myself — a clear, accurate photo — and somehow the system still turns me into a white guy at different points in the videos. There’s no excuse for that. If I’m giving the platform my actual face, how does it depict me as anything else? The lip‑syncing is always off, the movement never matches the rhythm, and the overall animation feels sloppy. But the worst moment was in a video I made for my daughter. A personal, emotional song — and instead of showing me, the Black father she knows, the video randomly morphs into a sobbing white man. That’s not just inaccurate. It’s disrespectful. On top of all that, fixing their mistakes costs extra. Every correction, every regeneration, every attempt to fix what their system broke requires more money. I bought the subscription thinking it would give me flexibility, but the second I tried to adjust anything, I hit paywalls. And when I asked for a refund? They refused. My entire experience with Sondo has been frustrating, expensive, and honestly disappointing. I strongly urge anyone considering it to stay away. It’s not worth the money, the time, or the disrespect that comes with being misrepresented in your own art. I don’t see where I could add photos but if I could I certainly would.

    This is no different than all other apps: Promises that don’t deliver. I downloaded this in hopes that it was different, but I found it not only the same, but maybe worse. First you HAVE to log in to acquire 10 credits. 10 credits is how much it costs just to move on to the AI screen. Then you get through that screen only to be told your video will be 3000+ more credits. Next you look at how many credits you get with the subscriptions, and find out that for your ONE SINGULAR 3:45 VIDEO will run you $29.99 just to have enough credits, and THAT is not 4000 credits a month, but for EACH AND EVERY WEEK. By that logic, I can only assume I can make 1 video a week. What if I don’t like the video? I’m out $30 and have to wait until the NEXT WEEK to make another. Oh, but there is a $9.99 a week option: 800 credits. WHAT CAN I DO WITH 800 CREDITS? Do they stack? Are there other options? Sure, I can pay $59.99 for a full year. How many credits do you get with that? Glad you asked: 8000. 8000 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. I’m deleting this app and forgetting it ever existed. And I am sure the developers will just delete this review, but hopefully someone sees it and realizes how pointless it is.

    This is not good at all it makes the videos look really fake. Not to mention you guys are charging to much just to generate a video 10 gems to to create the idea and another 1,100 to actually create the video? What kind of misleading bs is that?

    I’m writing this review because people need to be aware, I have sent many emails explaining to them that the script I read the video do not turn out looking like it I ask for the person singing to be facing forward they show more clips of other things in video then the person that is singing I ask for my tokens back for both videos I they have not given them back to me. Also they need to show proof of the video so customers can say it’s a good video before taken people token money I will let you know if they respond back to me but so far no and I’m angry 😡😡
