I've been an avid Pinterest user since weheartit got shut down (maybe even earlier). It used to be such a great app. Pictures, moodboards, style inspo, anime etc. now, it's a cesspool of ads and AI generated content that make saving anything impossible. Find a cute inspo pic for a cake? AI. This photo of Geto Suguru from JJK? Enhanced with AI for a sharper image. Oh here's 3 ads in a row that look like images but if you click on them it takes you to an Amazon storefront you have no intention of buying from. Not to mention I've recently been getting issues where I can't even save photos...on the photo saving app. I keep getting an error and nothing I do fixes it. Pinterest has become awful and it sucks because it's supposed to be easy access for photos since Google often gives the bare bones ones. Do better.

Love how it helps me get some source of inspiration and motivation to do some art crafts and change within me. Love the wardrobe capsule outfit and flower paintings.

I just wanted to find some outfit inspiration but all that would pop up is different ads from fast fashion clothing sites.

I used to love this app. I downloaded it in 2012 and was in love! However, it has devolved into an AI slop and advertisement mill. Every third pin is a shameless ad, and nearly every pin you see now is AI. It is nearly unusable.

this used to be a safe space but now theres ads everywhere and when i click on them like its a pin it takes me to their website?? at least make the ads viewable or something pls 😭😭😭

so many ads and ai content that escapes filters. constantly flagging pins of fine art, tattoos, etc. with a vexing repeal process

There’s more ads than Pins through my feed, it’s getting ridiculous.

I love Pinterest! It feels great to find a sense of community and inspiration. It also helps me (adhd) organize everything and so much more! However, now that we’ve got advanced AI, I feel like there should be an option to have an AI sort your board into sections for you. I’ve got thousands of pins and they’re all unorganized in whatever board they’re in, I am honestly lazy and hate tedious tasks like that. There should be something that can identify what certain pins are about (visually, description, etc), place them into its section in the board, and once done, you can edit it freely to your desire. I feel like if it’s properly done, the community would love this!! Also, it’d be nice if the sections could have sections…like in order to have a neater profile, I combined all of my video game boards into one. Then I combined the sections for each one…but now my inner organization is lost. I also get a lot of borderline if not generally pornography pins. I’ve reported so many but they always end up being fine. Yet the second I save a pin that’s relatable to my mental health…they don’t hesitate to take it down. But seeing a girl provocatively posed with only underwear on? Perfectly fine, apparently. A lot of creepy people on there have boards like “curvy beautiful women” or “yoga poses” (and no, it’s not just about yoga). It’s seriously sickening. STOP MUTING MY MUSIC FOR ADS. MUTING MY MUSIC DOES NOT MAKE ME WANT TO BUY FROM TARGET MORE.

take away the damn ai and the ai suggested board we dont want that
