  • Best app on the market, needs 2 additions

Absolutely no doubt that this is the best app in its class. The sophistication is incredible but balanced by an easy & intuitive UI. It needs two significant additions, however: 1) period tracking for women, and 2) a way to include supplementation for enhanced users. Otherwise, it is the perfect tool for comprehensive nutrition management.
  • Disappointed

Very disappointed with barcode scanner when logging food it’s calculating incorrect macro breakdown even when sever size is matching label, this has happened multiple times and tested it on MyFitnessPal and it worked no problem. Unfortunately I will not be buying the subscription after my trial I would have expected this to work flawless.

Been using MF for a few yards now. It really helps and makes everything simple for you.

I really do love this app for good info into what you’re eating. However I do have a few suggestions… like an option for women to include menstrual cycle information to help it adjust to their needs. I’d also love an easy “water” button instead of having to look it up. And finally, it to have more information on how weight can go up as muscle goes up, since many who use it workout and the calories go down if your weight goes up. Overall I enjoy the app a lot, and I love that it gives so much detailed information about what’s in food.
  • Quick add feature is so annoying

Can't edit the name after putting in the entry. Gotta delete and re-enter. Sometimes it adds the macros for total cals, sometimes it doesn't. There is so much stupid friction in this app that needs fixing

I need a refund, the AI doesn’t work.
  • Paid Version Worth it !

You probably spend money on pointless things. Health is wealth. Utilize the paid app. You can save your recipes so eating the same thing is easy OR even throwing in new foods is easy. I can share and modify those recipes for my spouse. I can get Jack in the Box Tacos or In-N-Out and still stay on my diet ,just do it.

  • Different Approach, Better Results

I’ve used apps like MyFitnessPal religiously when trying to lose weight in the past. I got results, but honestly never as consistent as this app. Because it doesn’t care about extra workout calories I find results are a lot more consistent. In the past I’d go for a huge bike ride or run and come home and eat to hold the difference. Now I just eat consistently each day. The speed of tracking is massively better with MacroFactor. It’s actually built to track. The only bummer is MFP has a better library of foods and I find is more accurate. Especially if you eat out, many restaurants are setup in the app. I’ve used the paid version of both apps, FYI.
