  • Glitchy

This game would be fine except for all the glitches. I can’t complete a field research for the treasury because the game doesn’t recognize receiving optical diodes from the gift box so it can never be completed. My ships randomly disappear and I need to build new ones. Overall fun game for a beginner app company. Hopefully they improve this game over time

Runs slow. Endless glitches and get cheated on 100$ packs you spend on. One ship costs 15,000$ to fully upgrade, 6,000$ just to get it. Big players bully free to play.

I’ve sat and watched a game that used to take up 8-10hrs of my day in the beginning even got the battle pass every month was worth it for mats, but you guys focused on the profits not complete development!! Instead of focusing on developing everything you could have rolled everything out slowly throughly. The f2p guys is what made this game popular at its peak and you have slowly squeezed almost all of us out for paying players who only care about how big they can get, instead our game is not working right because you rolled everything out to fast not through and buy to succeed ethic … time to rewind gentlemen or our game will be lost!!

There are really no redeeming qualities to this game anymore except for the dopamine hit you get from your daily “gifts” which are meant to entice you to pay. The lag is atrocious. There are a subset of players who have legitimately spent upwards of $250,000.00 on their account. I know one personally who has dropped $500,000.00 across two servers. This game is where reason and fun give way to monotony and tedium. I’ve played for two years. I’ve regretted every minute for the last six months. The only reason I stay is for the people. At this point, it’s a chat room with a barely functional “game” attached. The player base has shrunk by about 20% in the last 9 months. It’s a dying game. You WILL waste money on it. Then it will be put out to pasture.
  • There is a difference between online bully and ‘it’s just PvP’ Scopely…

By Regret I ever found this game
This game allows bullying and the only response ever given is ‘it a PvP game.’ Toxic players ruin the game and drive all levels of players out of the game. Scopely will not listen or fix game mechanics. They will eventually apologize in response to this post. They are lying.

The game is fine if you don’t take is seriously and don’t spend your money on it. If you do spend money, you’re going to be disappointed. The devs/publisher ignore the community feedback 100% of the time and even worse make “changes” that directly and negatively impact the game that if I’m honest any person with 2 brain cells should know would go poorly.

I have been playing this game for a while. The App store page shows a memory size of 337MB, but the last I checked on my iPhone is over 12GB and over 19GB on my iPad. The developer of the game is trying to offer new story line in every monthly release, to keep the game interesting. But each time when something new is introduced, it causes something else to break in the game. I never seen a game that crashes many times a day and you’ll need to restart. When you start seeing pink squares on all the material mining nodes in the game, it’s time for a reboot. And with new stories each month, there are new ships to build and new hostile ships to destroy, to get the new materials to build the new ships. But this also increases the amount of daily grinding you have to perform to keep up with the game. There’s so much to do daily that sometimes I just don’t do some of the daily grindings. And the game gives you free stuff to collect everyday. But as the stories are added and new ships to build, the amount of free stuff to collect grows as well. You’ll have to click about 150 times a day (and growing), just to collect them all. And each time you click, the game keep displaying its title page “Star Trek Fleet Command” before giving you the free stuff. Yes, I know the name of this game, why do you have to remind me each time I click. The game is getting to a point where I’m waiting for it to break, and the developer can’t bring the game back up. One time the game was down for a day because of a bug introduced. The game has many noticeable lag time as well and delays in earning the scores. And when the lag is really bad, the game would blame it on a bad Internet connection, and automatically reboots the game. I have 1GB Internet speed and my other apps don’t experience this lag. Many other players had quit the game. The developer had attempted an event, to get you to invite back players that had quit so you get a measly prize for it. Very pathetic attempt that I don’t think any players had participated. For now, I probably will stick around just to wait for the game to stop running, and say goodbye to my teammates on Discord. Some of my teammates are thinking the same, on when the game will be turned off.
  • A Buggy Money Grab Wrapped in IP That We Love

I have played this game for 6 years and wish I had all of the time and money I invested in the game back. Even as a player that has spent more than the vast majority of users, I am shocked by how the developer has changed the game to be more blatantly a money grab and hostile toward free-to-play users. The game’s bugs and customer service are also inexcusable. For example, today I spent $99 on a pack for an alliance event but it didn’t register for the event. When I contacted customer service, they kept me on hold on their online chat for 4 hours and counting (yes, I am still on hold) without any resolution. This is not the first time.
